The competing teams had 24 hours to find innovative solutions for E.ON's challenges
The best 15 teams measured their skills and ideas with each other at the Challenge.ON hackathon organised by E.ON and Design Terminal. Their task was to find innovative and efficient energy-related solutions the consumer of the future will use in the coming decades.
The teams with 2-4 members had a whole day to work on a solution and pitch their ideas regarding the topics of smart home applications, consumer engagement and the consumer trends of the future.
The winning idea, based on the decision of a five-member professional jury was delivered by a team called Csapat. They created an application, which drives the consumer of the future to use energy more sustainably, while helping disadvantaged families. The content of the fist prize was 350.000 Hungarian Forint worth airplane ticket voucher, a one-day Design Thinking workshop with E.ON where they can get professional help to develop their idea, and all of the team members were rewarded by Brain Bar tickets. Furthermore all of the winning team members were rewarded by technologic vouchers and Brain Bar tickets.
