We have decided to help a foundation, an aid organization and a civic initiative with an immediate donation of 2.5 million.
Design Terminal supports the Hungarian Interchurch Aid with 1.5 million Forints. The charity is focusing on helping those affected by the pandemic without a home and provision. The organization maintains temporary homes for families who have lost their homes for some reason. The support of Design Terminal can provide one month’s care in one of these homes in Miskolc. There are currently forty people living in this house, for whom the current situation is particularly difficult.
We are also helping the Single Parents Foundation with five hundred thousand Forints. The foundation supports the well-being of nearly half a million Hungarian single-parent families. From the contribution packages containing food and detergents will be put together for those who have been left without income with their children as a result of the crisis.
With our professional mission towards „innovative Hungary” in mind we are also offering an additional five hundred thousand forints for the “3D printing against the coronavirus” civil alliance. The initiative that already has two thousand and eight hundred members on Facebook, aims to print plexiglass face shields for healthcare professionals on a voluntary basis. We will donate directly to material costs.
With these offerings we thank those who have performed beyond their means for the country. We believe that together we will succeed in the recovery.
