In December 2019, we were featured in one of Hungary's leading communications magazines with two programs.
In December 2019, Marketing és Média gathered this year’s top events and initiatives from the Hungarian startup world. Design Terminal was included in the publication with two of our programs: the women’s scholarship program and the agricultural innovation program by the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture.
,, It is well known that the proportion of female managers and female entrepreneurs is extremely low in Hungary. This is the case in the startup world, so several organizations consider it a priority to make a difference. In January, Design Terminal announced that an additional scholarship program will be launched for female founders, mothers-to-be and mothers with small children within the framework of the Mentoring Program. The scholarship program has been implemented in two semesters, and in December, as part of the initiative, the innovation agency launched a series of events called Womentoring, where successful female entrepreneurs help startups. ”
,,In 2019, digitalization and technological advancement reached the agriculture. The NAK TechLab incubation program, launched by the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and Design Terminal in the fall, was preceded by a hackathon in March, an investor meeting in July and a speedmentoring in October. The main goal of the cooperation is to find innovative solutions in the domestic agricultural sector and in the food industry, thus making the sector more competitive, sustainable and environmentally aware. The bootcamp of the incubation program was organized at the end of November. At the end eight innovative startups entered the NAK Techlab incubation program. Startups solutions include a project for indoor crop production, a monitoring system for livestock farms and a digital pest trap for plant protection. “
