Intrapreneurs are internal Innovation Champions who develop disruptive ways of doing business, launching innovative products and services, and strengthening an innovative environment to stay competitive. The Intrapreneurship Program equips employees with the knowledge, tools and skills to build a culture of intrapreneurship and kick-start innovative projects.
Having located the Innovation Champions, we propose an experimental learning programme for the selected employees. All the knowledge and experience taught here is centred around the topic of innovation, product development and organizational change. The training series also focuses on preparing employees for working in an agile environment and helps them to integrate innovative solutions into their day-to-day operation.
How do we do it?
We organize workshops in small groups consisting of 8 to 15 Innovation Champions, usually taking not more than 3-4 hours and full of experimental learning methods, simulations and best practices.
Innovation Champion workshops are built on two pillars:
- Shaping the attitude of Innovation Champions towards transformation
- Maximizing knowledge about innovation and product development
Shaping attitudes:
Design Terminal takes responsibility for creating a proper learning environment where Innovation Champions can learn about attitudes related to innovation. Workshops include topics like:
- Growth Mindset
- How transformation works – Change management
- Effective communication
Maximizing knowledge:
Innovation does not happen by developing only soft-skills – they need to be supplemented with hard skills and competences to effect change. Learning experiences are formulated around:
- Agile project management
- Design-Thinking – empathy-based product and service development
- Validation methodologies
