Two selected teams won the opportunity of becoming a part of the constantly growing value chain of MOL Group.
Design Terminal’s first major client is the most prominent energy giant of Central Europe, MOL GROUP. The program designed in close cooperation with the innovation, HR and communication experts of MOL Group searched for the most promising startups in five areas: mobility, loyalty marketing, big data, commerce and logistics.

MOL Group started collaboration with two startups.
Design Terminal identified the challenges of MOL Group, the multinational oil and gas company, and located startups to deliver new solutions in the retail. Design Terminal’s mentors assisted the startups in fields such as business development, organizational development as well as cooperation with MOL Group.
Design Terminal, MOL Group and the startups mutually determined pilot projects and the teams worked on these projects. During the accelerator program the selected startups participated in 12 workshops, numerous 1on1 consultations and one speedmentoring.
The most important lesson learned during the partnership, it wasn’t enough simply to develop the startups, but at the same time certain organizational changes had to be implemented within the corporation to accelerate the integration process. This is why Design Terminal supports its corporate partners to find Innovation Champions within the organization itself, and through their training the corporation is better prepared to adopt innovation and efficiently apply external innovative solutions.
