Innovation Finds a Way! This is the new slogan of our Mentoring Program. The three-month program moved into the online space during the spring semester, which meant exciting challenges for both us and the startups. The slogan of the autumn semester hints that innovative solutions come to the surface even in the most difficult conditions.
Although we have launched the Mentoring Program online again, this did not discourage startups, and this was the most diverse batch that we ever had to choose from. Innovators from 13 countries and 3 continents applied, and we selected 16 of the 82 startups who made it to the Virtual Power Camp. 10 startups were included in the final selection, six Hungarian and four foreign – Chilean, French, Estonian and Spanish – companies.
The variety of sectors and problems targeted by startups also surprised us. The founders have realized that the future is in their hands, they can show us the way in a difficult situation like this pandemic. Since they need to build a business in unprecedented circumstances, we will help them with more leadership and sales workshops in addition to the usual. There will be hr counseling and psychological occasions, we also place special emphasis on their personal well-being.
